Story: The protagonist is an out of work novelist, who is going through a rough phase. This movie, to sum up in one line is a humorous, intellectuallystimulating adventure. It is comical, but more in the fashion that fansof Hollywood satirical-comedy genre would enjoy, not the mimicry andslapstick of our domestic Malayalam ventures.
The movie is a thought provoking satire on relationships, so if you aresomeone who doesn't like to think or takes too long to get the joke,this flick isn't for you.
This movie doesn't have a star cast to boast of. Jishnu deservesspecial mention for his outstanding feat on-screen.
Then there's the late Thilakan and Siddique whose performances wereremarkable as expected.
The rest can at best be only considered seasoned-amateurs. But themovie delivers on all fronts with a robust script and good direction.Do note though that it is only for the open-minded & not everyone wouldagree with its culturally forward ideas.
It is so unfortunate that good releases like these go unnoticed while afew Superstar duds grab all the attention. I sincerely hope that unlikethe great Malayalam movies of yesteryear that were neglected for beingahead of their time, this one is not ignored at the box office.
Whether you agree with the theme of the movie or not, you'll find itimpossible to walk out of the theater without an opinion.
